Our story

Started in 2011 with a simple idea — telecoms should work for businesses, not against them

Project Business Solutions was founded by Michael Gibbons and Carla Redpath right here in the North East. Their mission was straightforward: help local businesses understand telecoms, make smarter purchasing decisions, and stop being overcharged by providers who counted on customers not knowing any better.

It worked. Word spread, the business grew, and PBS developed a reputation for being the local team that actually picked up the phone, told you the truth, and sorted things without the usual call centre runaround.

Today PBS is part of the SEBB Group — the Sustainable and Ethical Buying Bureau — a group of businesses built around the same principle: collective buying power used to get better deals for the people who need it most. That group strength means PBS customers get access to wholesale rates and negotiating power that no individual business could achieve on their own.
